Stuart V. Corso, D. M. D.

Dr Corso was born and brought up in Hartford, Connecticut, and attended local schools there. 

 

His further education includes:

Bachelor of Science degree: Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut in 1973.

Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1978. 

 

Professional experience history:

        Commissioned in National Health Service Corps

        Association with other doctors in private practice

        Employed as a dentist at a Vermont community health center:

            The Health Center in Plainfield, VT

        Private practice in Danville, VT since 1991

 

He holds membership in the following professional associations:

        The American Dental Association

        The Academy of General Dentistry

The Vermont State Dental Society

    Past board member and

    Past president of the Vermont State Dental Society. 

 

Dr Corso holds membership in two dental honor societies:

Fellow of the International College of Dentists

Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. 

 

His community service includes:

        Liaison committee that assisted in the building of Vermont Technical College's new School of Dental Hygiene in Williston , VT. 

Providing information to students about careers in dentistry career days at Danville High School and Lyndon State College. 

Recruitment visitation for dental students at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Washburn Lodge's High School Scholarship Fund  

 

Dr Corso has resided in Vermont since 1986, and presently lives in Walden, VT with his family.

 

His recreational activities include:

    Folk dancing and music

    English Morris and Sword dancing

    Skiing, hiking, golf

His non-professional memberships include:

The Rosicrucians, AMORC

The Free and Accepted Masons

    -Member of the Grand Lodge Of Vermont.

 

While providing a variety of services to his patients, Dr Corso's special interests include rebuilding worn teeth and teeth with bite problems, and restoring missing teeth with implant crowns and bridges.
